Recycling pictures or just picking on Scott?
haha I was about to say the same thing! picture re-post!
it’s Kyle’s first day back
18:40 @ 155# (3-400m row, 2-400m runs = row/run/row/run/row) the rowing destroyed my legs, should have ran all 5 but am always worried about shin splints
18:48@95# (3 400m runs+ 2 200m runs).
15:45 with 89# push jerks. It felt too light, but I was referring to my notes about 111# being my 1RM. I guess I am getting stronger :)
10:45 (79#, 100 rowing sprint, 1 minute rest)
I do pistols like a drunk flamingo.
WOD: 16:31, 5-5-5-4-6 @155#, 400m row
Failed on the last rep of round 4 and just vowed to make it up on round 5. Chris yelled at me too, that helped.
Pistol work: BW x 5 each, +20 lbs x 4 each (upside-down), +35 lbs x 3 R (overhead), +20 lbs x 3 L (overhead), +45 lbs x 2 each (goblet), +53 lbs x 1 each (goblet, 2 sets)
Clean and Jerk: worked up to 90 kg x 1, failed miserably at 95 kg, then 80 kg x 2
WOD: 19:45 (90# could have maybe pushed a little more with the weight, runs still slowing me down)
pistols: right leg: shaky success, left leg: instant collapse
WOD: 19:15 (row, 57# hang C&J, bathroom break)
WOD: 17:50 (89#)
WOD: 20:48 (100#)
I know I turned around early accidentally (wrong bump in the road, wod brain) on round 2 but I ran extra on round 3, I promise!!!
17:34 @ 89#
(41 seconds slower than May, 27 pounds heavier)
15:36 @ 72#
Pistol Practice:Going down was easy!
WOD: 14:53@ 77#, row
23# heavier and 1:28 faster :)
Dude, you make me feel hopeful! :)
17:05 @ 125 (3 rounds) 115 (2 rounds)
15:06 (155# PC)
pistols: 3 sets, 5 reps + 1 set of my first weighted pistols with a 20# kb!
WOD: 13:37 @ 95#, shoulder feeling a bit creaky, but unbroken rounds…need to run faster
(last time I had scaled to 3 rounds)
15:59 – sub 89# front squat
WOD: 13:43 (104#, row) heaviest i’ve gone post-injury. felt solid. can go up.
Pistols to 12″ box with 10k plate. sooo close to unassisted.
