Sunday Open WOD: A Bunch O’ Stuff

Reminder: We start the Open at 9:45AM on Saturday Morning. Don’t forget to submit your scores before Sunday!

Sunday is only open to those who are participating in the open. There is no group warmup. 

WOD #1

Spend 10 Minutes Working Up to a Max Clean and Jerk

WOD #2

3 Rounds of

  • Handstand Walk 15 Feet
  • 15 Unbroken KB Swings (70/53)
  • 15 Unbroken Toes to Bar

WOD #3

With a partner…

10 Minute AMRAP of

  • 8 Chest to Bar Pullups
  • Squat Clean Thrusters (115/80)

Pullups are done on the minute, starting in the first minute. Only one person working a time. You must tag your partner out, so wait against the wall. Your score is total number of squat clean thrusters.

    Excuse me, you say you start the Open at 9:45AM on Saturday morning? Does that mean there is no makeup class tomorrow?

    Max C&J with locked catch – 175

    WOD #2 – 12:18 (sub 20 nose touches on wall for handstand walk, KB/T2B all broken except first round of KB)

    WOD #3 – with Joyce, 49 reps. reps split about 70/30 (me C2B, joyce Thrusters) confusion at the end, we may have skipped the last minute of the WOD, or everyone else did an extra minute.

    C&J @ 235#, 20# pr and felt fast
    WOD 2: 6:17 rx, took a little too much rest before last set of toes to bar
    No team wod, shoulder was acting up a bit so did a few sets of 21 russian swings with the 88#kb

    C&J: 135# PR on both parts–back is feeling much better

    WOD 1: 7:38 All KBs unbroken except the last set. T2B…thats a different story

    WOD 2: With Martha 34 (but I guess we stopped a round early too because we saw joyce and justin stopping)

    Clean and Jerk: 130# (PR)
    Clean: 135# (10# PR from last week yay) soo close to getting the jerk!

    WOD 2: 7:58 (45#, 15 wall handstand hand pick-ups, not unbroken)… yeah…. this one wasn’t so great

    WOD 3: With Justin– 49 and missing one round (79#)

    Wod 1: 11:07 @ 45# kb, handstands w/ handlifting
    Wod 2: w/ Olivia 34 but stopped early? (red band C2B and 55 # thrusters)

    Followed by one more round of burpees for 7 min.- increased by one!

    WOD 1: 11:06 rx but round 3 did 8 kb swings, started over and got 8 swings, started over and did 10 eye level swings; and then had to break last t2b into 7-8
    WOD 2: w/Taylor 30 ish reps? Rx
