Saturday Workout: Team Knees to Elbows Race

Escape the cold rain and see the sunshine at CrossFit Charlottesville. We’re open from 10AM until Noon and are offering free instruction.  Don’t worry, we’ll scale the workout to your level.

WOD

Race to complete total of 100 KTE; person not doing KTE is rowing; can switch as many times as necessary (scoring: for each rowing calorie, subtract one second from total WOD time).

  1. How come I always miss the rowing days? Have fun everybody.

  2. Joelle/Tom = 6:03
    J=40 KTC/T=60 KTE
    BTW, kudos to those who made it through yesterday’s brutal WOD. You guys did awesome!

  3. Elizabeth/Jenny (substitute 150 mat situps for KTE) = 11:30 (ish?). …didn’t exactly realize it was supposed to be 150 together not each. Oops. Well at least we got a great workout.

  4. Aaron/Chris = 4:10ish with 79 sec adjustment with the rowing.

    First time doing KTEs for me–Chris definitely pulled more than his fair share on this one.

  5. w/ Eric from Crossfit New York
    200 KTE
    279 calories (anyone know how much Ben & Jerry’s that is?)
    Final Time – 11:37

    1. IDK about Ben & Jerry’s, but you could have 1/3 cup of Haagen Dazs chocolate peanut butter ice cream. Not that I would know from experience, I’m just sayin’. 🙂

      1. Hmmm. I do like peanut butter.
        I hoped it would be more than that 🙂

    2. I think that’s good for about 4 bites…
