Friday Workout: Deadlift and Tabata Something Else

Deadlift 3-3-3-3-3

WOD

Complete 32 intervals of 20 seconds of work followed by ten seconds of rest where the first 8 intervals are pull-ups, the second 8 are push-ups, the third 8 intervals are sit-ups, and finally, the last 8 intervals are squats. There is no rest between exercises. Score is total number of reps.

Compare to 11/3.

    – 32 pull ups (Sara and I alternated doing pull ups and holding/pushing each other’s feet)
    – 73 push ups (knees)
    – 91 sit ups
    – 95 squats (I think … maybe more because I lost count and estimated low)

    1. DL: worked on form with Ben… I think Elizabeth’s tip on keeping knees out will help a lot. a bunch of sets at 67#, a few at 77#, one at 89# then back to 67 for a few more.

      WOD:
      250 total
      – 22 pull ups partner assisted… I think we only did 4 rounds of these not 8? Seem to recall doing 5 or 6 per round. So we should count the ones our partner did as part of our total 🙂 It wasn’t exactly Resting…. though we got an extra 10 seconds…
      – 59 push ups (knees)
      – 79 sit ups
      – 90 squat

    WOD: 39, 41, 100, 120 = 300 rx

    Pull-ups felt the best yet!!! And the first few rounds were the real overhand grip, stringing the first 4 together. Boo-ya. (still a long way to go, I know…)

    WOD: 43 (gbpu) +62 (knee) + 85 situps (w/ abmat) + 92 squats = 282
