        BrandX says its 105#

      2. typically 70% of the men’s weight — so here I was guessing 111#. Sad I’m missing this!

  3. 12:47 (3rds 67#/67#/45#; 2rds 57#57#45#)

  4. 12:36 at 111# for the first 2 rounds and 89# for the other 3

  5. 12:10, 107×2, 89×3 dl / 55# hpc and pj

  6. 13:42 (I think) @ 77#

7:15 rx on 12/27/10 at CF Rochester (Notes to self: used the 35# bar; was at 3:30 going into 4th rnd–then died, first 2 rnds HPC’s were unbroken)

        5:58 rx on 12/24/11

  8. 12:43 @ 57#

Afterwards, I got stopped by a guy in the grocery store, I assume due to my amazing sweatiness, who told me he could tell I’d been “running too much”. I would have told him it was from lifting weights at high speed but I think his head might have exploded, so I just laughed.

    1. There is no such thing as running too much

      🙂

  9. I did 8:17 for 67# deadlifts + 12# DB cleans & jerks. I feel a little embarrassed with such pitiful numbers, but … I probably wouldn’t have been able to do any of that a month ago. So that’s improvement, right? I’ll keep at it.

And, this is my first attempt to write a comment here. Looks like any other comment box, so I’m assuming this will work.

    1. Keep it up- you really get stronger EVERY week.

  10. 9:58 DL w/89#, everything else w/2x 15# dumbbells

  11. 20:10 Rx’d

    1. I admire your guts at doing this Rx. Prepare to be sore…

  12. 16:00 hard minutes @ 133#

  13. 5:59 @ 67# dls, 12# dumbells HPC and PJ

  14. 11:53 @ 111#
    grip killer

  15. 12:30ish (?) @ 99 lbs.

  16. sets of 5 strict pull ups till failure with 1 minute rest. 50…BTW on a basketball goal @ hotel…

21 (basketball) with ex pro football player and Tulsa Xfit…

  17. 11:15 at 77#. Kyle said I smiled too much- but that was the nervous smile of someone afraid of dropping a weight on her head.

  18. 13:00 @ 133# ouch…

  19. 10:10 @ 77# dls, 15# db’s hpc and pj

  20. 7:50 @ 57#

  21. 11:00 rx’d

  22. stopped at 14:30 with 4 rds + 2 HPC @ 121# due to weird hand injury. Had to do HPC as singles which made things a bit slow.

  23. 18:12 w/ 133 and 99# jerks. hang cleans wrecked me.

  24. 7:47 at 82lbs … way too light. was worried about time limit. next time 95-ish?

  25. 14:45 @ 95#

  26. Finally did this WOD on 2/28/11…. should have read G$’s comment above about the 35# bar because this was a true grip killer, especially those HPCs…

    12:07 (105#)

    1. Trial #2 at CF South Brooklyn on 5/27/11

      10:41 rx

the trainer recommended taking a 10 second break between rounds which I did, but I don’t think it really made a difference and now I’m wishing I hadn’t so I could have been closer to 10 minutes. The sweat did make a difference, though (dropped the bar during cleans a couple time which was kinda funny) and perhaps the 12 hour fast…
