Early September (Date TBA) – We are switching our member system over and will have swanky keytags for members.  We’ll talk about the new system when we actually figure out how to use it.

October 11th – Nutrition Challenge Kickoff – Ever see the results from our last 8 Week Nutrition Challenge? They are incredible. We will be kicking off our Fall Nutrition Challenge with a nutrition chat and with our pre-competition pictures.  [Facebook Invite]

Upcoming Competitions

September 25th – Fight Gone Bad IV – We are participating in a huge charity fundraiser competition on September 25th.  Setup your fund-raising pages and  show up to the gym for a big day of Fight Gone Bad and fun.  [More Information]

December 11th – Freedom 5k Running Race – Yes you all have to do it and it’s only $15 or $20 with a shirt. I promised them at least 20 of you would show up so they would put CrossFit Charlottesville on the T-Shirts, so we better have a good showing.  We’ll also be training for this race. [Register Here]

January 22nd and 23rd –SuperFit Games – Our huge, locally hosted CrossFit-style competition fundraiser. Last year we had an amazing turnout and this year will be even bigger. Expect big names and big prizes for the winners. If you aren’t competing, we could really use some volunteers. [Facebook Page]

Upcoming Training Program Calendar

September to Mid-October – Repeat of our strength programming from February, Wichita Falls influenced, results locally proven (remember how many PRs we got on our Total?).

Mid-October to Mid-December – Gymnastics Cycle (heard really good things from CrossFit Blacksburg about this) and 5k Race Prep

Mid-December to Mid-January – Olympic Lifting Skill Focus and SuperFit Prep

  3. Will the nutrition challange be similar to the early 2010- i.e zone blocks vs. unweighed paleo, etc.?

    1. Most likely start with some weigh/measure to give everyone a visual base but move towards unweighed/unmeasured.
