What if….there was this ONE MAGICAL DAY in Feb 2010 that I could do double unders but since then have not been able to do a single one. Just practice for 10 minutes??
I made up this WOD on Saturday and got 83. Not a stellar improvement. I really could have used Elizabeth’s magical jump rope (I’m guessing she took it to the Hopper). Time to order my own. Whether or not it makes a difference remains to be seen.
Thrusters: 55#
WOD: 262 (last time – 175)
was hoping for a bigger improvement, but I kinda went out in a blaze of glory of 42 in a row right out of the gate and got tired 🙂
Thrusters: 45# (one round of 50#, but went back down since my form is not great)
WOD: 175 DUs – First time I’ve ever done that many but unfortunately, also my first experience with an exertion headache. OW.
Heading back to the ville for thanksgiving and would love to get in the box for some WoDs. I need to keep up the training through the holidays for some competitions in January. Also this is the link to our box http://www.orangecoastcrossfit.com

No, that’s a normal thruster for me. This is the not-so-strong-AJ that only goes in the morning, not the much stronger AJ that goes in the evening.
ha you mean the super-tall-AJ who has more distance to cover with barbell lifts? killer double-unders by the way!
