Snatch Skill Work
Three rounds for time of:
- 30 Wallball shots, 20/14 pound ball (10.5 foot target)
- 75/45 pound Squat snatches, 30 reps (movement initiates with barbell below the knees)
Scale to hang power snatch and lower reps if you aren’t proficient in the snatch. Compare to 8/26.

sucked even with the light weights, legs a quivering mass of tired — I think it would even be hard with pvc and a tennis ball.
18:35 rx — much stricter with myself this time around on wall-ball height and reps, but still one of my least favorite wods

Your times are sick… you had inspired me to not DNF (like last time) on this workout.
…I DNF’d last time, but then finished up anyway (of course last time there was a time cut-off). Kim you are going to rock this WOD
cramped 2nd round of snatches and it got pretty bad by round 3. i did have 15 left to go at 17 minutes, so I will redo this one in a week.
20:02 did power snatches @ 75# and added 20 back squats to each set since I’m not squatchable.
12:51 (10# wb, 45# – 15 reps on the squatches)
17:02, 12#, 35#
19:39 Rx (w/ much better form than last time… I didn’t even fall down once)

I had to scale the reps because I’ve only done 37# in regular squatch (love that word) skill work. This was a grind but I kinda liked it. Kudos to those who Rx’d this puppy!

First time ever that my thumb/wrists/everything weren’t killing me during the overhead squats, so that alone feels like a major victory. 🙂
