Bench 3-3-3-3-3 (1 minute rest)

WOD

3 Rounds

  • Max Rep unbroken C2B Pullups
  • Max Rep unbroken KB Swings (2 pood/1.5 pood)

Rest exactly 3 minutes. Must go to KB swings within 10 second of dropping from bar. Score is total number of reps.

    1. post WOD fun — invigorated by the SUNSHIIIIIIINE (I love love love sunshine), and because I did not partake in last week’s running wod, I ran a 5k after the noon class was over.

      23:45 (not my personal best, but I’ll still definitely take it! …still felt like I was going to die the last mile, though)

    Also, first WOD with the 35# KB. Not as terrifying as I thought it would be!

    Snatch work: a couple sets at 95 and 115, then singles up to 140, fail at 142

    bp: 133-138 X 4

    i am consistent…
    but really need to work on getting the KB directly overhead. Gretchen suggested really focusing on popping the hip/gripping the KB tighter with locked wrists so I don’t lose it behind me when it does get overhead.

    felt strong on the WOD and would have had more but i dropped the kettlebell backwards over my head after only 2 reps on the first set.
