Is that Fran I smell?
it’s 11.6 you smell
She does indeed have a very distinctive bouquet! Reminiscent of suffering, sweat, and pulmonary edema! Wait until you do 11.6 – like Fran that never ends!
Thrusters: up to 133#
WOD: 7:45 (reg PUs)
WOD: 11:46 (bb pu’s…with maybe some jumping in there too…)
The whole toilet thing makes the gym…humid. My advice to you — du outside and use the bar in the doorway. I didn’t but I wished I did when I was about to pass out in the middle of the WOD.
Thrusters: 89, 112, 112, 89, 105 (odd, I know)
WoD: 10:49 w/ blue band. . . very much punished for not having done du’s in a while
Thrusters: up to 133#
WOD: 10:47 (jump PUs)
Thrusters: 89, 99, 111, 111, 121
No WOD just worked on C2B technique/efficiency
155 – 177 x 3 – 199 F
Thrusters: 62, 67×3, 72 – PR and I didn’t even know it! Thank you, newly acquired hip drive!
WOD: 10:00, blue band C2Bs
Thursters: 77, 87, 97 x 4. Prob need to go heavier, but my shoulder is bothering me
Thrusters: 67 x 5 (pretty ugly, maybe should have gone slightly lighter)
WOD: 9:03 (blue band PUs)
Double under performance anxiety yet again. I seem to get better the more tired I am. The first 2 sets, I couldn’t string more than 2 together, but my last set I did 27 unbroken. Guess I just needed to find my rhythm…
Or stop thinking about it 🙂
Thrusters: 89, 89, fail at 94, 94, fail at 99
But thanks to Cat I think that is a PR! Thank you Cat!
WOD: 7:05 (red band C2B)
Thrusters: 67, 77, 89# x 3
WOD: 8:13 (RRs on the box, accounting for a 17 sec delayed start)
CrossFail when my ring slipped off the band and I was dangling by my left arm… Thanks Ian for finding me a substitute station!
thrusters: 67 x 5
WOD: 8:50 (blue band pull ups)
Thrusters: 89/89/99/99/111 (feels good to finally be back under a weighted bar, still keeping it light)
WOD: 8:20 (RR’s w/ box, DU’s first 2 rounds, then broke my jump rope AGAIN… finished out with SU’s)
Thruster: 89, 111, 121, 133(PR), 155(PR)
WOD: 5:04 Rx, including time wasted w/ a double noted rope
Thrusters: 89, 111, 133×3
Box squats worked up to 225 before I ran out of time
Wod: 4:51 (sub ring dips for pull-ups)
WOD: 7:11, maybe 80% c2b
Thrusters: 89, 99, 111, 111, 111(2)
WOD: 10:04 Rx (breaking into small sets to get legit chest touching bar, not just height)
Thrusters: 135×4; 155 x1
WoD: 6:36 Rx
WOD: 7:48 (rr’s)
Thrusters: 89×2, 94, 99×2
Thrusters: 57 x 4, 62
WOD: 9:27 (BB PU’s, mostly SU’s with some DU’s mixed in)
Thrusters: up to a set of 185, with a 199F in there somewhere.
WOD: 8:57 chin to bar PU’s
Thrusters up to 133#
WOD – 5:58 Rx except later rounds of pus were not really up to C2B. Related q: is chest supposed to actually touch the bar or just get up there? If the former, I did zero C2B.
ya there’s supposed to be contact with the bar.
Sub front squat for thrusters
Wod: 10:00 ( not all c2b, rusty at du!)
thrusters @77×4, 87
wod- 10:40; off day for DUs for me too; maybe it’s something in the air/water
Thrusters: 35, 40, 40, 45, 45
No WOD…still in lazeballz recovery mode. 😦
thrusters- couldn’t get 87# Did 77# twice
WOD- other than changing jump ropes twice , got better as wod went on
14:40 C2B with blue band
