Mental WOD at CF Louvre: get rushed through taking notes (no pictures, no drawing) on 60 Athenian vases in only 3 hours’ time. Completed as rx’d. OMG I’ve never worked that fast.
and this is the point at which I brag about how the Louvre was closed so I had it all to myself. HOWEVER, mental WODs don’t really do much for my actual muscles or physical endurance.
I’d suggest that everyone should try to do the wod as near as possible to how you did it 8 weeks ago in terms of scaling, etc – that’s how you show that you got better!
8:43 Rx on 9/17/2011. the hip is finally starting to recover after almost a full 6 weeks of no squatting/running movements – wanted to see how it would feel doing a wod with short runs. everything is good to go, no noticeable soreness around hip joint. Hopefully will be able to ease back into squatting movements within the next couple of weeks!

I hate you. The Louvre is absolutely amazing! Wish I was there…

11:48 (26#, RR) – 1.5 minutes faster, RR instead of RB PUs this time
12:43 (35#, RRs)
11:15 (35#, RR’s)
8:45 Rxd PR by 2 sec. Faster by 34sec from 8 weeks ago. Runs 430m
15:21 Rx (4×3 SPU’s)
~2 minutes longer, but no bands or RR’s
woot real PUs all the way! nice work!

15:20 (45#kb, strict pullups 6-4-4)
Sluggish today.
14:43 (35#kb, blue band pullups)
shaved off 1:13 from last time
14:40 (35#, BBPUs)
Almost a minute slower than June. 🙁
13:53
2:22 faster than March (same scaling, but sickly)
0:59 slower than February (+10# and red band instead of blue)
I’m counting this a win
Should probably mention I scaled to 45# and RBPUs
Also March = June… I clearly was not paying attention to what I was typing yesterday
11:11 rx. Missed 8 weeks ago, so no comp…
12:50 strict PU, 25 russian swings/round
10:28 (35#, rr)
1:05 faster than June, but I did blue band pull ups then instead of ring rows, so it’s not a good comparison.
11:40 rx
12:46 (25#, RR)
12:45 (25#, blue band pu)
15:19 (25#, GBPUs 1st rd, RRs 2nd & 3rd rd)
I mean 20#, typo. I wish I was that good already!
14:58 (#45/35, RRs)
12:21 (25#, gbpu – PR +1:03 from June)
I need to start working on that 35# kb and bbpu’s now!
11.42 – faster than before but RR this time instead of rbpu
12:32 (20#, RR) – was still in on ramp in june!
9:06 rx

12:26 only -17 from last time
14:33 (25#, ring rows)
29 seconds faster than last time!
14:05 (20#, GB PU). First time doing Helen, so nothing to compare it to.
10:51 (20# KB and RR)
I really like this one.
11:48 (20#, RR)….was in on-ramp in June!
9:10 Rx
11:33 (20#, RR)
9:20 Rx strict PUs – all was good until the wheels fell off on the final round of PUs.
// WOD – 14:14 (45#/blue plu)
8:20 on 10/1/11
8:34 on 01/07/12
