15 Minute AMRAP of

KB Swings (70/53) & Rowing

You and your partner can either row or do swings, but you can only score points when someone is actively rowing.  Points are total number of calories rowed after 15 minutes plus total number of kettlebell swings.

Compare to 1/29.

    WOD (with Margaret): 341 Rx, although a few of my swings wouldn’t have qualified for Rx, I’m sure. Thanks to Margaret for her hard work and thanks to Kyle for giving me the push to try the Rx weight!

    1. Why can’t we have a like/badass feature on this? Seriously, seeing people like my on-ramp partner Sam and all the ladies from Monday PR lifts and workouts inspires the rest of us to push that much harder. I wish I actually deserved half the credit my WOD partner gave me today…

    First time using the 45# kb was pretty darn rough. Luckily Sam was a beast on her 53# swings!

  7. BP: 85# (4# less than my 1 rep max. Failed on 95#/ran out of time. Definitely trying this again on Saturday.)
    WOD: 391 w/ Lydia (146 calories + 145 KB swings, 35# KB)

    1. pff whatever! I forgot to mention how I threw the kettlebell in anger after it flipped around and whacked me at the top of my swing. Good times.

      1. Ouch! I was oblivious to the Lydia Rage moment, but I came very close to hurling my KB as my hands got sweatier…

    Similar (+/- 10 swings/calories) to last time, but 10# heavier 🙂
    Doing this WOD made me miss Elizabeth 🙁

    wod w/ Joe, I accidently erased my calorie count but I think it was 60-75. 181 kettle bells, started #35 switched to #25 pretty quickly.

    Russian swings tabata at 53# (between 10 and 8 reps each interval)
