Friday: Pull-ups+Push ups

Spend the first 10-15 minutes of class working on core strength. Exercises will be determined by your instructor.

With a continuously running clock, do one pull-up and one push up the first minute, two pull-ups and two push ups the second minute, three pull-ups and three push ups the third minute… continuing as long as you are able to complete the number within the minute time frame. When you cannot complete the required number of reps for that minute your workout is over.

Use as many sets in any order each minute as needed.

Record number of minutes successfully completed.

  1. No ladder, but a swim WOD! I’m no swimmer, but i had a pool so I gave it a try (plus after I was done I got to reward myself by lounging poolside while looking out at the gorgeous Umbrian countryside sooooo not too shabby)

  10. 8 rnds + 9 pull ups and 6 push ups. Switched to knee push-ups in rd 8. Green band pull-ups, some of which were iffy towards the end

  11. did this at home. 5rx. which is actually a fairly large accomplishment for me.

  16. Saturday pool WOD (since neither my dad nor mom felt like partnering up for any semblance of a “31 Heroes” type wod sadddd)

    42 squats, 21 push-ups
    30 squats, 15 push-ups,
    18 squats, 9 push-ups


    1. Sunday strength day (rain/clouds = no pool WOD)
      BS 10-10-10: my mom (65kg)
      HSPU 10-10-10-10-10: head to small square pillow, focusing on strict and unbroken and hands no wider than shoulder width apart

  17. 9 rnds 10 pullups 7 pushups (BBPU for rnds 1-4, GBPU after, mostly knees for pushups)

  18. on saturday … 13 rds

  19. 13 rds + 14 pull ups + 5 pushups

  20. 10 Rounds, the last 3-4 w/ red band

  21. 5rds before my shoulder wouldn’t take anymore pullups. hopefully this will get better!

  22. on 9/6 (realized that the stairs going to the loft bedroom in the Rome apartment are backless so I could sort of do PUs on them! And not chin-ups, either, but real strict PUs with an odd grip. This was fun and challenging)

    8 full rounds rx (strict PUs… though the last 3 at the end there were more like “eye over step” instead of “chin over step”… oops. But I finished that last round with 2 seconds to spare so I didn’t even start on 9).
