22:07 (3 kipping pu/round, 143#)
First wod without using a band, hence the 3 per round. 🙂
Awesome job! 45 pull-ups in your first WOD without a band is no joke.
Daaaaaaamn!
Sweet! That is some impressive PU action 🙂
Woohoo!!! Nice job!!
Thanks everyone!
yeahhh real PUs!!! Nice job, seriously.
Now I get why you are Dave H’s hero (besides being awesome in general). Great job!

This was physically and mentally tough, so glad it’s over!
Stopped at 30 minutes w/ 3 pull ups, 10 push ups, 15 squats, and 1 round of Cindy left
(133#, red band PUs, zero energy)
But all the way to the end your pushups were chest to the deck and full lockout at the top, so you have that going for you. Which is nice!
she does have seriously awesome push-ups, doesn’t she
Aw, thanks guys!
20:21 @ 221…we need to do more pushup workouts. I’ve gotten weak.
tell me about it…first time i did Cindy i didnt fail on a pushup in the 18 rounds. now i start failing somewhere around rounds 6 to 8
As long as you’re not too sore or beat up from the WOD’s, I imagine doing some sets of push-ups at home on your own every so often could help you catch back up!

and congrats olivia on the pullups, that’s great!
13:55rx at 275lbs 1.5x BW

That was much, much harder than I thought it would be. Not sure if it was humidity, or kicking it off with so many deads, or just not my day…
Taking my lead from Kommander Kyle, did this at 1.75 BW. Good times!

14:38 I’m afraid that I didn’t count right……guess i’ll have to do it again…..

WOD: 20:15 at #285 (1.54x bodyweight)
TEO (aka “Heavy Stuff” aka “another super frustrating wod for Elizabeth both mentally and physically”)
10 burpees
5 C&Js (70kg)
15 burpees
4 C&Js (75kg)
30 air squats
3 C&Js (80kg)
40 air squats
2 C&JS (85kg)
50 air squats
1 C&J (90kg)
sooo we weren’t really sure what the women’s C&J weights should be, since no girl at CF Thessaloniki (who made the wod) had done this. So I decided to start at 45kg and add 5kg each round, as well. During warm-up, 65kg kilos was easy and no problem (my max as of July is 75kg).
Welllllll as the wod went on my form broke down as my legs stopped working properly, so round 4 was not 60kg, but rather 57.5kg. Then the final round was going to be 60kg, but after a gazillion missed jerk attempts (clean was fine, my legs just would not drop under the jerk and I reallllly can’t press that weight), we finally dropped my load back to 57.5kg for the final rep for a time of 17:08 (about 5 minutes of that was spent on the final jerk). Super sad face.
19:33 Rx’d (245#)
11:58 at 247# (1.6x BW). First time doing a full squat or dl in a wod in 7 weeks and my legs were smoked! hip feels a little sore but pretty good
28:03, green band pullups, alternating full and knee pushups, 110# DL.
Ouch.
14:17 @ 185# it was the air squats of all things that got me
did 15 1/2 rounds of cindy in 20 minutes w strict pullups. no deadlift access
23:00 >Rx (225#/1.5 BW, strict pullups)
2 years ago i could make it to 11 rnds / 10 minutes of Cindy before failing on strict pullups. today, maybe the 4th or 5th round and lacking the ability to stay close to the bar. definitely going to go back and start doing these again, even if it results in slower WOD times.
20:00 ish(10-1 round, 8-2, 6-3, 4-3, 2-3)
