*I tried to take it easy with the C&J’s because I started to get those headaches again. It’s at the base of my head and extends down the left side of my neck. It feels like a bad tension headache and gets worse when I bend over. It didn’t bother me at all during the WOD. If this persists I’m going to go see a doctor. Suggestions welcome!!!
Yikes that sounds like the tension I felt in my neck before I had a catastrophic neck spasm last November. Does it start behind your ear and go down your neck into your trap?
It literally feels like it’s at the base of my skull on the left side. I used to get the same headache in high school after a really intense track workout. Hasn’t bothered me for years and it started yesterday around rep 20 of the cleans. Powered through it and then it came back today just during the warm-up run. I know things in the back can manifest in all kinds of different ways and I was dealing with a bulging L2 about 2 months ago….any ideas?
Anytime I feel even a slight twinge I’m on the phone with my chiropractor making an appointment. I’ve been seeing Dr. Brycen Hudock at True Health Chiropractic for close to 10 years now.
