C’ville Strength Workout: Wednesday 10/10

Your new warm-up is shown here beginning at about 0:50. It will make you a better weightlifter.

  • work up quickly to a heavy single power clean
  • clean high pulls 5×5 (at heavy power clean weight)
  • push press 5×5 (light, focus on jerk grip positioning and high elbows, dipping through heels)
  • L-hang T2B (3 sets of 5-10 reps)

    clean pulls at 90 kg
    push press 60-70 kg

  3. power clean- 139#
    clean pulls- 139#
    push press-40 kg (still trying to find optimum grip for the jerk)

  4. Heavy Power Clean: 200#

    Heavy High Pulls: 200#

    Push Press: 135#

    3×5 L-Sit T2B
