C’ville Strength Workout: Wednesday 1/2/13

It’s 2013. Are you ready?

  • snatch — work up to a heavy single (for the day), 75% (of HS) x 1 x 3
  • back squat — work up to a heavy single (for the day), 80% (of HS) x 3 x 3
  • tabata weighted planks (45#/25#)

We are starting a classic 5 week cycle that will culminate in an Oly Total and many PRs all around. You will see a lot of classic full lifts and regular squatting. We will be assigning percentage based lifts many days, so we highly encourage that you log your workouts in a journal, if you are not already doing so.

    BS: 145kg x 1 (PR), 120kg x 3, 115kg x 3 (2 sets)

    1. starting the year with a PR!??! Atta boy!

  2. SN: worked up to 70, did 55 x 3

    BS: 110 x 1 90 1×3

  3. Snatch: 80lbs and then 70lbs for singles
    Backsquat: 145lbs and then 115 for triples
    25lbs plate for planks
