C’ville Strength Workout: Saturday 1/25

  • Clean & Jerk — 75% x 2 x 2, 80% x 1 x 3, 85% x 1 x 2 (% of C&J, increase the weight final rep if feeling good)
  • Front Squat — work up to a heavy single (for the day), then 85% of that x 2 x 2 (compare to 1/12/13)
  • Weighted pull-ups — 5 x 3

  1. C&J: 75x2x2, 80x1x3, 85×1, 90×1 PR!
    Front squat: worked up to 100, missed 105 b/c I didn’t rest enough between sets. 85x2x2
    Weighted Pull Ups: BWx1 set 15# x4 sets

  2. C&J-60x2x2, 65x1x3, 70×1\
    Front Squat- 85×1, 74x2x2
    Weighted PU- BWx1 and 15#x2

  3. C&J: 90lbs x2x2, 95lbs x1x3, 105lbs x1x2
    FS: 125lbs then 107lbs x2x2
    Pullups: work on REALLY slow negatives and getting torque with proper shoulder rotation

  4. C&J up to 95kg
    Front squat:125kg. Still stuck in the hole at 130.

  5. CJ: Worked up to 119#
    FS: Worked up to heavy double of 139#
    PU’s: Unweighted
