Deadlift: Previous PR was 385. Worked up to 2 reps at 365#, which went up pretty easy, so I got ambitious and tried to go to 400. Fail. Then failed at 385 after not taking any recovery break.

Pretty much the same score as a year ago, but 50# more on the DL, HOG Push ups this time and a 20″ box instead of 24″- getting old does have some benefits, you see!

Nice job on the DL. I felt much like you on the WOD wherein the DLs and BJs weren’t so bad. Actually the PUs weren’t either; so why didn’t I do better?
Looks like you did pretty well to me. Pushups are hard!! I’ve been trying to do them with really good form, elbows tight in. Gotta save those shoulders so when I’m your age I can still function.
