This week marks the start of a short de-load in anticipation of maxing on Saturday or Sunday. That means cut volume and/or intensity by 50%. You might even consider taking a couple of days off and just doing mobility work.
For folks who are interested, we will be holding a mock-meet during normal class time on this coming Sunday. The mock-meet will be a chance for folks who are interested in competing (or toying with the idea of competing) to max their lifts in an environment that mimics the structure of a weightlifting competition. If you don’t want to participate in the mock meet, you can still show up and lift on Sunday. It’s up to you.

Are the gymnastics nights always going to be on Tuesdays or might there be any on Thursdays?
The trip out to Classics Gymnastics Center will be the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month at 8:30 pm. Additionally, every Thursday in February at 8 pm we are hosting a Gymnastics Basics class at the gym led by Taylor and Tiffany.
