C’ville Strength Workout: Wednesday 2/6

Deload week!!!! In preparation for this weekend’s Oly Total (and/or Sunday’s mock meet, see below) this is a deload day. The weights are light on purpose, and you might consider approaching your regular Crossfit WODs with 50% volume, or even taking the next couple days off to do mobility work.

  • Snatch — 70% x 2 x 3, 75% x 1 x 4
  • Clean & Jerk — 70% x 2 x 3, 75% x 1 x 3
  • Back Squat — 65-70% x 5 x 3
  • Mobility Work/Foam Rolling


For folks who are interested, we will be holding a mock-meet during normal class time on this coming Sunday.  The mock-meet will be a chance for folks who are interested in competing (or toying with the idea of competing) to max their lifts in an environment that mimics the structure of a weightlifting competition.  If you don’t want to participate in the mock meet, you can still show up and lift on Sunday.  It’s up to you.
