C’ville Strength Workout: Monday 4/15

In just under a week we’ll be sending 6 of our own to the RVA Open weightlifting meet on Sunday, April 21, at Crossfit RVA. Jenni, Erin and Elizabeth lift at 10am, Jon at noon, and Billy and Bryce at 2! Come out to cheer them on (strength class will be cancelled, so you might as well)!

Today is not only Tax Day, it is Forney’s birthday!!!
  • Max bench
  • Max box jump (for height)

**if you are competing, you will not do the above program but will instead begin preparing for the meet. Try to lift with a ‘judge’ in front of you calling the “down” command.**

  • snatch opener x1x9 (2 minutes rest between lifts; if you make most of the first 7, take the last 2 at your proposed 2nd attempt)
  • clean & jerk opener x1x6 (2 minutes rest between lifts; if you make the first 4, take the last 2 at your proposed 2nd attempt)
