Today is the first day of the 2014 CrossFit Games Open! Open WOD 14.1 will be released live on the CrossFit Games website at 8pm. If you are competing in the open on Saturday, be smart about your effort today if you plan to work out. Take Friday off or come in to do some movement practice or skill work once you find out what the workout entails. We will program the Open Workouts as the Friday WOD for the gym.
STRENGTH
Power Clean and Jerk, 3-3-3
Does not have to be touch and go reps. Weight should be moderate/heavy, rest ~2 minute between sets.

In Teams of 2, AMRAP in 10 Minutes of the following:
- Shoulder to Overhead (65/35) x 6
- Burpee Box Step Up (18/12) x 9
- Slam Ball (20/15) x 12
Level 2
In Teams of 2, AMRAP in 12 Minutes of the following:
- Shoulder to Overhead (115/85) x 6
- Burpee Box Jump (24/20) x 9
- Slam Ball (30/20) x 12
Notes: Only one person working at a time.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
This week marks the first Open workout of the 2014 CrossFit Games season – the workout will be released on Thursday at 8pm! There will be NO regular make-up class on Saturday at 10am. This time will be reserved for those competing in the open workout (an email will be sent out to competitors later this week). Regular class make-up will be held at 11am as normal.
