I Bought (or Want to Buy) the Membership, but I have no CrossFit Experience, Now What?
Don’t worry! We have an optional new member program built into our schedule called “Essentials” that meets every Monday/Wednesday at 6:15pm, and Saturday at noon. What can you expect to learn in the classes? We teach you the fundamentals of the compound lifts that we use in our CrossFit workouts. See below for class breakdowns.
- Class 1 (Monday): Squatting (Back Squat, Front Squat, Overhead Squat) + WOD
- Class 2 (Wednesday): Cleans (Hang Power Clean, Power Clean) + WOD
- Class 3 (Saturday): Gymnastics (Ring Work and Pull-up Bar Work) + WOD reinforcing gymnastics movements learned
- Class 4 (Monday): Pressing (Shoulder Press, Push Press, Push Jerk) + WOD
- Class 5 (Wednesday): Snatches (Hang Power Snatch, Power Snatch) + WOD
- Class 6 (Saturday): Miscellaneous Skills (Hip Hinging in Deadlift, Kettlebells, etc.) + WOD
If you can’t make it to the Essentials Class due to your schedule, we can still make our regular classes work for you! We encourage you to try to hit as many Essentials classes as possible, but CrossFit is a universally scalable program and we won’t turn you away if are willing to learn and scale the workouts to your ability level. Our goal is to teach you and help you get a great workout while staying safe.
