Wednesday Workout: Team Chipper

WOD

In Teams of 2, Complete the Following for Time:

  • 200 Double Unders (partner in handstand against wall)
  • 100 Lunges, bodyweight (partner ring or parallettes support hold)
  • 50 Squat Cleans, 135/95# (partner in bottom of air squat)
  • 40 Chest to Bar Pull-Ups (partner hold plate overhead – 45/25#)
  • 30 Burpee Box Jumps, 24/20″ (partner hold plank on elbows)

Notes: Only one person working at a time, but partner 1 cannot be actively working unless partner 2 is in position (i.e. holding handstand, bottom of a squat, etc.), and vice versa.  Partners can switch whenever they want.

Level 1 Recommended Subs

  • DU: 1:1 Single Unders Plus 1 Burpee for Every 10 DU reps (partner hold straight arm plank)
  • Lunge: No change (partner hold dip support with feet on ground)
  • Squat Clean: Dumbbell Hang Squat Clean
  • C2B Pull-up: Ring Row (scale weight of plate if needed)
  • Burpee Box Jump: Burpee Box Step Up (straight arm plank)

    • And then Lauren reminded me that we started at 3:00, so our time was actually 17:18, yay! 😀
