It is with great sorrow I share the news of our dear member Randy Kiernan’s passing. Randy was an original Cville Burn member. You could always count on him to show up early to class, give his fellow “burners” a hard time, and talk about fitness for hours. He will be missed by all who knew him at CrossFit Charlottesville.
We will hold a memorial workout in his honor in the near future.
Randy’s obituary can be found here:

1 thought on “Rest in Peace Randy Kiernan”
I am Randall’s youngest sister, Mary, and wanted to thank Charlottesville CrossFit and its members for giving my brother a lot of happiness during the years that he was a member there. He spoke with great pride about the workouts he did and the friends he made. It was home. Randy chose to be very private about his illness and so I understand that this passing was a shock to many. He lead a great life, despite a difficult last few months, so I just wanted you all to know that he attributed a lot of his joy to the time he spent with each of you.
